The students will be expected to be able to identify the base, or root word and prefix. They should also be able to explain how the prefix changes the meaning of the base word. Finally, they will be expected to spell the word correctly. If a student puts a capital letter anywhere in the word where it doesn't belong that will count as a misspelling.
